World Environment Day

"Our Planet Needs Us"

Earth Root Foundation is organizing a photography competition to celebrate World Environment Day. This exciting event will attract people from all over the world and offer them a place to learn in a fun and interesting way about our environment. A person can submit Maximum of two photos.

• We are looking for personal vision on environmental issues e.g. Air Pollution, Water Pollution and Waste Segregation etc. Photos may Portray the problems or solutions to any of the environmental issues or showing how people interact with any of the environmental issues.

• Images will be judge on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit as well as the personal vision about environmental issues the photographer conveys through the images.

The Jury will consider the photos to be submitted together, and will value the high quality and consistency of the work submitted.

The jury members will be announced in the last week of May.

Who can participate?

Anybody who is interested in photography and concerned about environmental issues.

How to Participate?

• Visit our website http://earthrootfoundation.org

• Fill the registration form and submit your photos.

• Submission deadline is 30th May, 2019.

Requirements:

• Participants can submit maximum two photographs that respond to the theme of the competition.

• Do not digitally manipulate the content. Photos that might have been excessively treated will be excluded.

• For each photos please mention the title, caption and a brief description of where, when and how the photograph was taken.

• Entries that do not respect these criteria will be disqualified.

Winners Declaration:

Winners will be notified either by email or phone on 5th June, 2019 (World Environment Day)
